The department of nephrology of the secondary
hospital of
Lianyungang set up in 1998. There are independent wards and blood purification center in the department. There is one chief physician, two associate chief physicians, two physician-in-charges, one physician and seven hemodialysis nursees. There are eleven hemodialysis machines. They can diagnose and treat primary and secondary kidney diseases, carry out hemodialysis(HD), hemofiltration(HF), hemodiafiltration(HDF), hemoperfusion(HP), plasma exchange(PE), continuous venous-venous hemofiltration(CVVH). They can put channel in central veins, anastomose internal arteriovenous fistula, launch kidney biopsy.
